Understanding The 2024 VA Rate Change

A Glimpse Into The Community Care Network (CCN)
The VA Community Care Network timely, high-quality care, whether within VA medical facilities or through approved community providers.
For home care services, the VA doesn't directly provide HHA/Homemaker or respite services. Instead, the VA authorizes community providers to deliver these services to Veterans, with the agency receiving direct payment for the care provided.

Reminders For Providers
The 2024 VA home care rates go into effect on February 1st. It's crucial to update your information across all platforms, including your Agency Management Systems (AMS). It’s also important to note that rates are determined by where the care is administered, so some of your clients could have different rates from each other. Failure to make these updates could result in discrepancies in reimbursement. Providers are encouraged to promptly review and adjust their billing rates to reflect the updated fee schedule.
